Ready Set Pitch!

Ever wondered what makes a pitch actually work? Ready Set Pitch! is your chance to learn how to build and deliver a convincing pitch - and then put it to the test in front of real founders and investors. It’s your chance to try pitching for real - with no experience needed and nothing to lose.

First, we teach you the basics. The evening starts with a short crash course on what makes a great pitch - from structure and storytelling to delivery, confidence, and reading the room. You’ll also get a simple pitch guide to use throughout the workshop.

Then, you put it into practice. You’ll be placed in a team and given a business case on the spot. No preparation and no startup idea needed. Your team gets one hour to turn the case into a convincing two-minute pitch.

Finally, you pitch. Present your pitch to a jury of founders and investors and get direct feedback on what worked, what didn’t, and how you could make it stronger.

No experience. No startup idea. No pressure. We provide the business case. Nothing to prepare. Nothing to read beforehand. And no experience needed. The whole point is to learn, experiment, and try pitching in a setting where there’s nothing to lose.

16:40 – Meet the Jury

Meet the founders and investors from the two Aarhus based VC funds, Founderment and Delphinus Venture Capital, and hear briefly about what they do.

16:50 – Pitch Crash Course

Learn the essentials of a great pitch — structure, storytelling, delivery, and how to get your message across.

17:10 – The Pitch Challenge

Meet your team, get the business case, and turn it into a convincing two-minute pitch.

18:10 – Pitches & Feedback

Take the stage and pitch to the jury. Get direct feedback and find out which team takes the win.

19:00 – Dinner & Networking

Burgers from Lighthouse Burgers, drinks, and time to connect with the jury and your fellow students.

Ready to give it a shot?

You’ll be placed in a team of four on the night, so come alone or bring your friends and classmates — no team needed to sign up.

And yes, there’s something to play for. The jury will choose the strongest pitch of the night, and the winning team takes home a prize. 🏆
